The celebration of the 75th anniversary of Copper Mill Sevojno was attended by numerous friends, business partners, collaborators, and company employees, once again confirming the Copper Mill’s importance as one of the key economic players in the region.
On behalf of the host, the guests were welcomed by Desko Nikitović, majority owner and Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and Dragan Subotić, the company’s General Director.
During the ceremony, plaques were awarded to collaborators and long-standing business partners. In recognition of their significant contribution and support to the development of the Copper Mill, a special plaque was awarded to the U.S. Embassy in Serbia, as well as to other partners who have supported the company’s growth and development over the past decades.

On behalf of the award recipients, U.S. Deputy Ambassador to Serbia Alex Titolo and Dobrosav Andrić, General Director of Prvi Partizan, expressed their gratitude.
During the anniversary celebration, Copper Mill Sevojno received a special award from the Sector for Strategic Analyses, Services, and Internationalization of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia.
The artistic segment of the formal ceremony featured performances by the ensemble Una Saga Serbica and trumpet player Danijela Veselinović, blending tradition with contemporary expression—much like Valjaonica Bakra Sevojno itself, which unites a proud past, a strong present, and a forward-looking vision for the future.
