CSR
Copper Mill Sevojno has always emphasized the importance of socially responsible business practices and has been an active participant in addressing social and environmental issues within the local community since its inception. Its significant influence on strengthening and developing the broader region clearly demonstrates that the company has consistently been a driving force behind the development of the Užice area. Our guiding principle is that investing in the development of the local community within which Copper Mill Sevojno operates is also an investment in the growth of Copper Mill Sevojno itself.
Despite the challenging conditions caused by the economic crisis in recent years, our commitment to social responsibility has remained unwavering. We have demonstrated our dedication through a series of initiatives supported by both individuals and organizations.
In partnership with the City of Užice, we supported the NALED campaign promoting the certification of cities with favorable business environments, aiming to increase direct foreign and domestic investments by creating a positive business climate. This initiative provided investors with recommendations for local-level investments and supported Užice in enhancing its competitiveness compared to other local governments in the region.
At the management’s initiative, we actively supported the “Battle for Maternity Wards” campaign by donating two CTG devices to the Užice hospital. These devices significantly eased the workload of medical staff and contributed to the comfort and safety of expectant mothers. Together with other donors, we fully met the medical equipment needs of the Užice maternity ward. Through this action, Copper Mill Sevojno contributed to the care of the youngest members of our community, continuing our commitment to the future of our local area.
We have demonstrated our commitment and proven that it is real and brings real results. Our goal is to continue being a cornerstone of development in the region where we operate, and the fulfillment of the community needs makes us really proud of our commitment to the idea of altruism.
