In mid-April, a delegation from Copper Mill Sevojno visited Germany to attend Wire & Tube D\u00fcsseldorf 2026, one of the world\u2019s most significant trade fairs in the metals industry. After more than a decade, company representatives once again had the opportunity to visit this prestigious event, where the company had previously also participated as an exhibitor.<\/p>\n
The delegation included Radi\u0161a Perovi\u0107, Extrusion Plant Director; Sara Stranjakovi\u0107, Chief Processing Technologist; Dragica Toma\u0161evi\u0107, Lead Sales Manager; and Katarina \u0106irovi\u0107, Senior Sales Manager.<\/p>\n
During their stay in Germany, the delegation also visited the Frankfurt office of DP Handel, where discussions were held regarding the current market situation and order execution.<\/p>\n
The central part of the visit was the tour of the trade fair in D\u00fcsseldorf, which brings together leading manufacturers, suppliers, and industry experts in the fields of wire, tubes, and related equipment, offering valuable insight into modern technological trends and future industry developments.<\/p>\n
Numerous contacts were established during the fair, and meetings were held with both existing and potential business partners. Of particular importance was a discussion with a customer using Cu-ETP wire from Copper Mill Sevojno in the production of lightning protection equipment, during which opportunities for expanding cooperation and further product development were discussed.<\/p>\n

The delegation also visited the stands of raw material and equipment suppliers, as well as companies operating in the copper processing industry. Contact was re-established with a company that had previously expressed interest in copper tubes, but whose focus has since shifted toward products for the defense industry. Although their current main supplier is based in Asia, they expressed openness to cooperation with European manufacturers, and a product catalogue of Copper Mill Sevojno was provided to them.<\/p>\n
At the same time, a strong presence of equipment suppliers from Asia \u2014 primarily from China, India, and Turkey \u2014 was observed, while the participation of major European manufacturers was comparatively limited.<\/p>\n
Participation in Wire & Tube D\u00fcsseldorf 2026 enabled Copper Mill Sevojno not only to strengthen existing business relationships and establish new contacts, but also to gain valuable insight into modern technological trends and market developments, providing an important foundation for the company\u2019s future planning and growth.<\/p>\n
