Copper Mill Sevojno marked its Company Day and patron saint celebration, Monday of the Holy Spirit, bringing together representatives of local government, business partners, employees, and retirees to celebrate the company’s 76th anniversary.<\/p>\n

The commemoration began with the traditional laying of wreaths at the busts of Vlajko Brkovi\u0107, Du\u0161an Zari\u0107, and Slobodan Penezi\u0107 Krcun, followed by the ceremonial breaking of the Slava bread in the presence of priests from the Church of St. Archangel Gabriel in Sevojno.<\/p>\n
Addressing the attendees, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and majority owner of the company, Desko Nikitovi\u0107, reflected on the legacy of generations of employees who contributed to the development of Sevojno Copper Mill and highlighted the company’s ambitious plans for the future.<\/p>\n
“We have very ambitious plans ahead and we will not stop until we double our production compared to the levels achieved several years ago. I am convinced that this factory has enormous potential and will continue to achieve significant results, both in Serbia and on the global market,” said Nikitovi\u0107.<\/p>\n

Reviewing the company’s performance, General Director Dragan Suboti\u0107 emphasized that despite numerous challenges in both domestic and international markets, Sevojno Copper Mill maintained stable operations and continued its growth trajectory.<\/p>\n
“Three words best describe Copper Mill Sevojno\u2019s performance over the past year \u2013 continuity, stability, and expansion,” Suboti\u0107 said.<\/p>\n
During 2025, the company invested EUR 7.75 million in the modernization of its production capacities, bringing total investments over the past five years to approximately EUR 27 million. Annual production reached 25,170 tonnes, while sales totaled 25,227 tonnes.<\/p>\n
Copper Mill Sevojno currently employs 1,076 people. The average net salary reached RSD 120,040, representing an increase of more than 90 percent compared to six years ago.<\/p>\n

The company’s financial position continued to strengthen during the year. Outstanding debt was reduced to below EUR 20 million, the lowest level in the past three decades. A total of EUR 6.7 million in principal debt was repaid, while tax payments amounted to EUR 12.5 million.
Suboti\u0107 also highlighted the company’s strong start to 2026, noting that investments worth EUR 2.8 million had already been completed during the first four months of the year.<\/p>\n
“The results achieved in the first four months of 2026 confirm that we are moving in the right direction. New investment projects and development initiatives will further strengthen Copper Mill Sevojno\u2019s position in both domestic and international markets,” he said.<\/p>\n
As part of the Company Day celebration, employees were recognized for their long-term dedication and outstanding contributions. Service awards, “Best Colleague” recognitions, and awards for top-performing employees across organizational units were presented.<\/p>\n
